This course introduces the principles of energy management in buildings and industry. Students will learn about the worldwide energy consumption and growth, the principle methods by which energy is used and its environmental impacts and consequences. Objectives and components of an effective energy management program are discussed.

There is no official prerequisite for this course, but it is recommended that students enroll in this course in their final year.
